Project — Expert Dashboard
Reading time < 2 mins
Problem
To teach product management, Upraised have onboarded product leaders.
These product leaders help candidates by mentoring them, practising interviews, sharing feedback on PRDs, taking live sessions, etc.
However, these activities involve manual efforts such as updating availability and handling interview-related queries. With the recent onboarding of more experts, operational efforts have exponentially increased.
On the expert's side, there's a growing sense of overwhelm, managing numerous tasks, and reduced motivation due to a lack of visibility into their impact.

Data Analysis
Impact
Reduced support queries by 90% by leading design for a product for 100+ product leaders that helped them manage / update their profile, availability and track progress of various mentees in the program.
Solution
We established an ecosystem for Experts, starting from scratch, providing the opportunity to design a scalable and robust product. This ecosystem comprises a dashboard, expert profile, availability, payouts, and impact.
In the initial version, we prioritised the design and development of the dashboard, profile, and availability.
Learnings
Writing PRDs, how being in problem space helps & compliment this by documenting the design decisions.
Sketching out the information architecture while keeping up scalability in mind.
Collaborating with development teams, maintaining a hand-off checklist and resolving the blockers faced.
Designing for motivation, how to leverage accomplishments to cultivate impact and hence, increase motivation
This project was done while working as a product design Intern at Upraised around September, 2022
